I haven’t heard much from or seen Cam’ron lately but over this past weekend,  he was partied it up with model Shaneka Adamas and Maliah Michele in Atlanta. He rocked a True Religion hat and jeans.

Last night Wednesday (April 4), actress Taraji P. Henson walked the black carpet for the Think Like A Man NYC premiere, which took place at the AMC Empire 25. She was all glammed-up in floral pants paired with pink YSL Tributes and a Valentino purse.

Kevin Hart  also attended the Think Like A Man NYC premiere. He was styling on them lames in a YSL logo belt and sneakers, which he paired with a burgundy sweater and blue jeans.

Ne Ne Leakes of RHOA was in NYC yesterday Wednesday (April 4), as part of the Bravo Upfronts for 2012. NeNe wore a red fitted dress by designer Herve Leger and a dope pair of Christian Louboutins.

Jadakiss also made an appearance at the Think Like A Man NYC premiere. He kept it causal but cool in a pink Polo hoodie, hat, tan cargos and Air Jordan sneakers.

Think Like A Man actress Taraji P. Henson is one of five celebrities who posed nude for the May 2012 issue of Allure Magazine. The four other celebities are 33-year-old Extra host Maria Menounos, Debra Messing, 43, Leslie Bibb, 37, and Morena Baccarin, 32. Taraji isn’t shy at all when it comes to posing nude. Her body is amazing! Below is an excerpt:

“My friends won’t be surprised by this shoot,” Henson said. “Whenever we go to the beach, I’m like, ‘Is this a nude beach? Can I take my top off?’” With that kind of bravado, it’s no wonder that the 41-year-old Person of Interest actress isn’t afraid to parade around naked—even at her New York City home, with zero curtains on the floor-to-ceiling windows. “I know some idiot has a telescope, so I always wave,” she said.

For one of her appearances, the Howard University alumni styled a $520 Faith Connexion Rose-Print Neoprene Dress with $950 Gucci Ursula Python Ankle Strap Sandals. Person of Interest and Think Like A Man Too actress Taraji P. Henson covers the April 2014 issue of Upscale magazine. On the cover, the 43-year-old mother looks great in a cute beaded ensemble.

This spread was shot in Los Angeles at the Sofitel Hotel by photographer Allen Coley. On April 6th, Henson will host BET‘s ‘Celebration of Gospel‘ (the show was already taped).

Inside, the Oscar nominee talks about  being nominated for an Oscar, staying grounded, the realities of being a Black actress, dating and much more.

On what happened after her Oscar nomination and Tyler Perry: “People were like, ‘you just get nominated for an Oscar and the first movie you do is a Tyler Perry film?’ Well, it’s not like Scorsese called me! Tyler was the only call i got the day after the Oscars. And he gave me a quote. Up until then, I had no quote. I was getting paid pennies to do movies. Tyler treated me like a queen.”

On staying grounded/friendships: “I’ve got my road dogs who were with me before all other fame. My best friend in the whole wide world I’ve known since the seventh grade. My other girlfriend was my roommate at Howard. They are my backbone. They know me. When they see me, they look behind the eyes into my soul to see if I’m really alright.”

Award winning director Lee Daniel is heading to Fox with his new Hip-Hop drama, Empire. The network has picked up the drama which is slated for the 2014-15 season.

Empire is written and produced The Butler‘s Lee Daniels and Danny Strong. The drama is described as a family drama set in the world of a Hip-Hop empire. Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson stars as Cookie Lyon, the ex-wife of Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard), who is the head of a record label at the center of the drama.

Empire makes the TV directing debut for Daniels. From 20th Century Fox and Imagine, Brian Grazer will executive produce alongside Daniels, Strong and Francie Calfo.

Oscar Award nominee Gabby Sidibe (she made her acting debut in the 2009 film, Precious) co-stars alongside regulars Jussie Smollett, Malik Yoba, Kaitlin Doubleday, Trai Byers, Grace Gealey and Tasha Smith. Empire also features original and current music, with Grammy Award winning producer Timbaland on board as a songwriter/music producer.

The Hollywood Reporter reports, “The drama had been generating solid buzz throughout pilot season, with the additional revenue streams to come from the original music sales, likely also contributing to the network’s decision to pick up the drama. Fox picked up the drama after a multiple-network bidding war, ordering Empire to pilot with an eye toward series pickup under its new development model“.

“The series will become the third scripted musical show on broadcast TV, joining Fox’s Glee– which also hails from producers 20th Century Fox Television — and ABC’s country music drama Nashville, from producers Lionsgate TV“.

The upcoming film, No Good Deed arrives in theaters September 14 and the promo run has begun.

British-born actor Idris Elba & American actress Taraji P. Henson stepped out in style last night Tuesday (September 26) at Regal Cinemas in Los Angles for a private screening of the film.

Elba opted for a black tee-shirt and denim jeans matched with brown shoes while Henson styled a cute red ensemble with black, silver & gold pumps.

The twosome had a lot of fun promoting their new film. It was a lot of games and laughs on the red carpet.

Here new film, No Good Deed arrives in theaters this Friday (September 12).

In the film, the Oscar nominee “plays an Atlanta housewife living a quiet suburban life with her husband and two kids. She finds herself in a deadly cat and mouse game on a stormy night with an escaped killer named Colin, played by Idris Elba.”

The Washington D.C. native and Howard University alumni is covering the October 2014 issue of Ebony magazine.

Inside, she talks about fixing her body in five years, No. 1 guilty pleasure, her No Good Deed character, best advice she ever received and being treated like a D-list actress. Below are some highlights:

What body part will you have to fix in five years?
My stomach. I get it from my mom, who had to get a tummy tuck because she didn’t exercise. I try to work out at least five days a week. But if it reaches the point where I am not satisfied, I’m just going to be like, “Can you suck this out of me? Thanks!”

What’s your No. 1 guilty pleasure?
Watching ratchet, ratchet television—like any of the Real Housewives shows, especially when they were fighting and a girl got her weave snatched out—that is my guilty pleasure. Sometimes, I’ll just sit in front of the TV, screaming, “Ratchet, ratchet, ratchet! Where’s the ratchet TV?”

What’s the last thing you used your celeb status to get?
To get my fat ass into a restaurant. If someone tells me there’s a wait, I’ll walk right to the front of the line like, “I need a table now. I need to eat, and I want this. So let’s work this out.”

On her No Good Deed character

“It’s a real girl-power film; she never stops fighting. It delivers the message that you don’t ever have to become the victim.”

On the best advice she’s ever received
“My dad always told me to get from around those who have the same problem and get around people who have a solution.”

On her career
“I’m still treated like I’m on the D-list. I’m still being considered with actresses who haven’t done half the stuff I’ve achieved.”

“When people tell me no, I get hyped. Because when I prove that I can and will, I love watching people eat crow.”

It’s obvious that Black Hollywood is winning! Actress Taraji P. Henson, actor Idris Elba and producer Will Packer has a lot of reasons to be smiling and celebrating right now.

Their No Good Deed has taken the #1 Spot At The Box Office. The film grossed a little more than $24 million, and was produced on a $13.8 million budget.

Henson and Packer‘s Think Like A Man Too nabbed the #1 spot this past summer and Packer‘s About Last Night also took the #1 spot. This makes the Hollywood super producer third #1 so far this year.

Deadline reports, “The box office crown, however, this weekend goes to No Good Deed, which Sony didn’t really screen for critics and opened it on the strength of a smart marketing campaign.  It’s on track to gross $24M+. Its production budget (which doesn’t include marketing and distribution costs) was $13.8M. Sony is expecting to bring in $24.5M with a lesser percentage drop on Sunday. Others have it around $24M to $24.3M.”

Actor Terrence Howard and actress Taraji P. Henson alongside the cast of Empire ablaze social media last night Wednesday (January 7) during the season premiere of the Lee Daniels-directed Hip-Hop drama series.

Oscar nominated actor and actress Howard and Henson are both on the cover of the January 2015 issue of The Hollywood Reporter alongside Dana Walden and Gary Newman.

THR reported “The 9 p.m. drama [Empire] averaged a 3.7 rating among adults 18-49 and 9.8 million viewers, per Nielsen Fast National ratings, easily making it one of the top launches of the 2014-15 season. That number also put it as the top-rated show of Wednesday night, besting Modern Family and the return of American Idol.”

“This is the happiest I’ve ever been in my career.”

On her job as Cookie on Empire:

“I played a lot of characters that could’ve been borderline stereotypical women, but my job as an actress is to make the audience understand and empathize with the people. Cookie is a lot.” Henson added, “She wears me out but I know this woman. I’ve done my research inside and out. I took Cookie from Lee and made her my own.”
